Multichannel information campaign in the media and Telegram channels

Prehistory

Popcorn is an unexpected and tasty solution for warm winter holidays and family leisure. Through the large-scale information campaign “WARTO” for the Big Bob brand, we told more than 8 million Ukrainians about it.

WARTO Communications Agency has been cooperating with SNACK PRODUCTION brands since January 2022, when we implemented a multichannel information campaign for San Sanych TM. So we already had experience in promoting the snack brand in the media.

Decision

Communications through the media help solve a variety of business problems: from informing wide audiences about the company’s history, values and team to responding quickly to crisis situations and building a positive image.

So, when we and the Big Bob team identified the key task, we immediately realized that it was time for a multichannel information campaign that would include media relations, publications on social media (mainly Facebook), and publications on Telegram channels.

We selected two groups of media outlets to work with: lifestyle publications that bring together an audience interested in more entertaining content, and national news outlets that have the largest audience among media platforms. Thanks to this selection of publications, we were able to reach as wide an audience as possible, and on the other hand, promote entertainment content where the reader expected to see it.

Telegram has become another important communication channel. According to recent research, this messenger is ahead of Facebook, YouTube, and even Viber among online sources of information. Telegram allows you to wrap brand communications in completely different forms, make them interactive (polls, tests, quizzes) or, conversely, quite brief and concise. In fact, Telegram is “news in your pocket,” available wherever and whenever there is a network. And brands can use all the advantages of this platform for their communications. This is exactly what we did in our communication for Big Bob.
